Nursery Practitioners at Monkey Puzzle are crucial for delivering the outstanding childcare and services that we deliver. Through their hard work, we support our children as they begin their learning journeys.
Early Years Practitioners spend most of their days supporting learning and delivering the curriculum to our children. Working in age group rooms, they interact and play with the children, helping them to develop and grow as they explore the world around them through both guided and child led activities.
Our Practitioners work under the guidance of senior staff. Working together, they provide the highest level of care and education for all children attending our nurseries, in line with our curriculum and guidance, ensuring that all our children are safe, learning and enjoying their time with us.
Monkey Puzzle Early Years Practitioners have the ability to communicate confidently with both parents and children and are able to work well within a team. They can show good verbal and written communication skills and be able to maintain confidentiality, knowing when to report issues of concern to a senior team member.
Our Practitioners work with a positive attitude and show a drive to learn whilst supporting children, parents, colleagues, and visitors daily. Being able to plan and organise their time will help them in their role, allowing them to show their creative ideas and inspire learning in our children.
As an Early Years Practitioner, it is essential that you have:
- Minimum full and relevant Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification
- Good communication skills
- A passion to support children and families
- Work in partnership with your nursery team to maintain the highest standards
