My name is Ally Wallis
What fills your heart with happiness about your role?
I absolutely love being able to watch the children learn and grow, I am very lucky to have created beautiful bonds with the parents –knowing they trust me to care for their little ones is such a privilege.
How did you get your career started?
My career at Monkey Puzzle started when I applied for a practitioner job. A little while after settling I was lucky enough to have been offered Baby Room Leader. After a few months I was approached with the wonderful opportunity to be Bedford’s manager.
What opportunities have you had or are you accessing with Monkey Puzzle to develop and progress your career?
Monkey Puzzle has offered me amazing career opportunities and I have progressed so far at such a young age. I am always being offered new training to help better myself and my staff’s practice.
If you look back in 10years’ time, what would you loved to have achieved?
I have been lucky enough to achieve some of my massive dream roles so young in my life, and this is 100% down to Monkey Puzzle. I would love to be part of an outstanding Nursery and carry on making it the absolute best it can be.
What would you say to anyone with a choice of Early Years Childcare as a possible career path?
It is such a rewarding job! Making those bonds with the children and their parents is such a lovely feeling.
