Twelve activities to take home
From October to January, our nurseries are following the seasons with the children. Every one of the twelve things they are exploring comes with an activity sheet you can do at home, written by our early years team — and they are all here, free, with nothing to sign up for.
None of them need much: paper, pens, a walk to the end of the road, and whatever is in the recycling. Most take twenty minutes. All of them are the sort of thing a two-year-old and a five-year-old can do side by side, in their own way.
October
Whispers of Autumn The season turning, mostly collected in handfuls on the way home.
November
Kindness Grows Here Noticing other people: in the room first, then in the streets around the nursery.
December
A Little Christmas Magic Making more than buying, and giving a little of it away.
January
New Year, New Wonders A fresh start measured in firsts rather than resolutions.
