Become your favourite Reindeer with this fun activity, making your very own Reindeer hats!
Follow our simple step by step instructions to get crafting and transform into one of Santa’s special reindeers for Christmas. Make sure you print off our antler template provided below to help you with your creations.
What you need for your Reindeer Hats
- Reindeer Antlers template
- Brown card
- Drinking straws
- Googly eyes
- Red pompom or something similar for the reindeer nose
- Sellotape
How to make your Reindeer Hat
- Using the brown card, measure around your child’s head to ensure the length is correct.
- Once you have the length, cut a 10cm wide strip from the card.
- On separate brown card, using the antler template, draw around the antler twice (on 2 different sheets) and cut these out.
- On the inside of the headband, stick the bottom of the two antlers down so only a small proportion is hidden. To keep the antlers standing upright, use the drinking straws and tape these behind the antlers.
- Before securing the headband, in the centre add your googly eyes and reindeer nose.
- Now this is all done, place the headband around your child’s head and secure with some more tape.
