The new setting is the second for our franchisee Vjollca Niklekaj, having first opened Monkey Puzzle Surbiton in 2019.

Vjollca has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality early years education and is thrilled to bring her passion and expertise to even more families across southwest London. “Opening a second setting was a natural next step for us,” said Vjollca. “We’ve seen the difference we’ve made in Surbiton – proven by the positive feedback from families across the community but also by how confidently the children we care for transition into preschool and reception. We wanted to bring that same level of support and opportunity to even more families.”

Located just minutes from Kingston town centre, the new nursery hosted an open day on Friday 25th July.

Designed with both care and creativity in mind, the space boasts a wide range of facilities including a dedicated music room, sensory room, dressing-up room and an abundance of outdoor space for little ones to explore.

Before joining us by opening our Surbiton setting in September 2019, Vjollca had a diverse background. Originally a Geologist Engineer in Albania, she moved to the UK in 2000, had two children and graduated from Kingston University in 2007 with a degree in Applied and Environmental Geology. Encouraged by her lecturers, she pursued her passion for teaching, completing a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics in 2010 and working as a Maths teacher until 2019. She later transitioned to early years education, drawn by a belief that the foundations laid in the first five years are crucial to a child’s success and happiness.

“I truly believe that if children get the right start in life – where they can learn, be creative, have fun and feel supported – they’ll carry that confidence with them forever,” Vjollca added. “That’s what we’ve already created at our Surbiton setting and very much hope to replicate at Monkey Puzzle Kingston. A nurturing, inspiring environment where children can thrive.”

Vjollca’s Kingston nursery has been carefully designed to create a home-from-home feel while offering a modern, well-equipped learning environment. The spacious layout allows for varied activities and child-led exploration, with an emphasis on outdoor play and creative learning.

“The feedback we’ve already had has been incredibly encouraging,” Vjollca shared. “Families who know us from Surbiton have visited and been really impressed with what we’ve created here. We’re so proud of the team and what we’ve achieved.”

Grace Cole, our managing director, praised Vjollca’s journey and dedication. “Vjollca brings so much passion and insight to everything she does – we’re so excited to see what she achieves with her second setting. It’s franchisees like Vjollca who truly embody what makes us unique. Her commitment to children, families, and her team shines through always, and we were so proud to support her at her recent open day.

“We’re honoured to stand behind her as she continues to make a lasting impact in early years education. Kingston is lucky to have her!”

With the new Kingston nursery now officially open, we continue to strengthen our presence in London and beyond – helping more families access exceptional early years education in nurturing, high-quality settings.
