Our brand new nursery and preschool is now open for the community of Wokingham and we are so pleased they are able to welcome children into their beautiful setting.
Proudly located in the heart of Wokingham, Monkey Puzzle Wokingham has opened its doors for children ages 3 months to 5 years, providing 73 places for children in our local area. The nursery has 4 age groups: babies, tweenies, toddlers, and lastly preschool. Each of the rooms are specifically equipped for the different age groups, providing that home-from-home feel that fully nurtures all of the children in their care, helping them to the play, learn and grow.
On the 15th of May 2024 they held our Launch Day, inviting their team, staff from head office and members of the local community to come and join them in celebrating all the hard work that has been put in to date, culminating in the grand opening of the nursery. The team were joined by the Town Mayor, Rob Comer and Cllr Adrian Mathers to officially cut the ribbon, officially ready to welcome families into the beautiful new setting.
The nursery and preschool is also providing career opportunities for the local area, actively recruiting staff members for the Wokingham setting. Employees will have access to high-quality training and development to support building a long-term career in Early Years.

“It has felt like a dream come true… I have always had an interest in education, back at home, as a child there was always a lack in teaching subjects, like Literacy.
A few years back, during the adoption process with my son, the local agency suggested to spend some time with children in a nursery. After only a few visits to the nursery settings, immediately I knew this is what I can do and would love to do.
I found the biggest challenge in early years was the staffing, but I am prepared to bring a change in this industry, and I want to ensure more people are inspired to work within the early years sector. My goal is to attract more people to work in this sector, and to support the fantastic team at Monkey Puzzle Wokingham on their career journeys.

The nursery and preschool officially opened on June 3rd, 2024 and they were so proud to welcome our very first children into our nursery. They can’t wait to have a positive impact on their Early Years journey and to welcome even more families in to their nursery.
