We’re continuing to grow our footprint nationwide with our latest expansion coming from our Stoke Newington nursery, where a brand-new preschool building has just opened its doors.

Located just across the road from the existing nursery site, the new building marks a significant milestone for our franchisee Cayden Herbert and her team. Since opening the setting in November 2023, Cayden has built a strong reputation with her local community by offering a warm, home-from-home environment for children aged 3 months to preschool.

Just a short walk from both Stoke Newington and Rectory Road Overground stations, the nursery is ideally placed for busy families. With demand continuing to grow, the new preschool space provides additional capacity and dedicated areas for older children to prepare for their transition to primary school.

“This new space is something we’re so incredibly proud of,” said Cayden. “We’ve had such fantastic support from the community since opening – we knew we needed more room! The new building allows us to give our children so much more space to explore, play and learn.”

The new preschool building has been carefully designed to support children as they prepare for reception, fostering their independence and confidence in a fresh environment that is distinct from the main nursery property.

“It’s really important for our children to see that learning doesn’t just happen in one place,” added Cayden. “Having our preschool building separate from our nursery helps ease our children’s move to ‘big school’ – it shows them that change is normal and can be exciting and fun too!”

The expansion has also opened up new opportunities for the team, with Cayden creating new leadership roles including a deputy manager and a new preschool room leader.

“As a business owner, seeing us grow and welcome more children through the door has been really rewarding. But, as someone who is a big supporter of professional development, to see some of my team’s career progress through the opportunities created with the new preschool building has been just as amazing as watching our children flourish.”

Grace Cole, our managing director, praised Cayden’s achievements. “Cayden’s journey as a franchisee is such a brilliant example of what makes Monkey Puzzle so special. She joined us as a practitioner before becoming a franchisee, so she knows what we’re all about – she brings a real passion to everything she does, and this new preschool building reflects that completely.

“It’s such a beautiful, inspiring space that supports both children’s development and the progression of our early years professionals.”

With the new preschool now fully operational, our Stoke Newington setting continues to offer bright, spacious and supportive early years education to families in the area – and serves as a strong example of the positive impact our franchisees can have across our network.

“We’re really proud to see franchisees like Cayden taking bold steps to grow their settings and meet the needs of the communities they serve,” concluded Grace. “As a franchise, we’re committed to supporting that kind of growth up and down the country – ensuring more families have access to the exceptional early years education we strive to deliver.”
