Have a go at making our delicious recipe for apricot and lamb burgers. A fantastic alternative to a beef burger and the apricot really adds a different flavour. Try cooking them yourself and don’t forget to share your results with us to show us how you got on.
Ingredients
- 2 kg fresh lamb mince
- Tomato ketchup
- Soy sauce
- Dried apricots (fine diced)
- Breadcrumbs
- 3 eggs
Instructions
- Mix together the eggs, tomato ketchup and soy sauce.
- Place the fresh breadcrumbs, fine diced apricots and minced lamb into a bowl.
- Using your hands mix all the ingredients together.
- Shape into balls and flatten down to make a burger.
- Shallow fry to seal the burgers and give them colour.
- Cook in the oven for a further 15-20 mins.
- Once your lamb burgers are done, add them to your choice of bun or roll and enjoy!
