Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries have been busy fundraising and raising awareness for Children in Need this week. The charity works closely with a whole range of organisations to understand where the need is greatest, ensuring the money we raise goes to supporting the young people that need it the most.
Through our collective support, they help to fund over 2,500 local charities and projects which directly support children and young people in communities right across the UK. The charities they support provide a huge array of support to the children and young adults who need it the most, helping to change their lives, remove barriers that they face in their lives and support them through poverty, disability, illness, distress or trauma. Their work with partners tackles some of the most pressing issues in the UK including:
- mental health and wellbeing
- violence impacting young people
- holiday hunger
- access to employment
- social injustice
