Join us at Monkey Puzzle Head Office and wear pink or purple for Pepper Day on Wednesday 23rd June.
The Hospice at Home nursing team that The Pepper Foundation help to fund is working harder than ever to protect the safety and well-being of the families, and to provide the vital service that keeps these children at home, away from hospices and hospitals.
The Pepper Foundation is a charity that raises money to help fund children’s hospice at home nursing care in Bucks and Herts. The funds they raise support nurses providing specialist paediatric care for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. The care they provide for families is free of charge, directly in patients own homes and is unique in this area as it is available 24 hours a day, all year round.
The Children’s Hospice at Home nursing team and the service they provide is managed by Rennie Grove Hospice Care. As well as nursing care for the children, they offer practical advice and emotional support for parents, siblings and other family members. In giving children the choice to be cared for at home, surrounded by the people and things they love, the aim is to ensure their lives are as happy and comfortable as possible.
At Monkey Puzzle, we all agree what a fantastic charity they are and we hope you will join us in raising money to help them to continue to provide the fantastic service that they do.
