We are incredibly proud to celebrate Parv Choudhury, whose dedication to children, families and the wider Bexley community has been recognised with the Civic Recognition of Outstanding Achievement Award.

For more than 12 years, Parv has been committed to improving the lives of children, families and vulnerable members of the Bexley community. Through his nurseries, charitable work and personal commitment to those around him, he has consistently worked to create meaningful and lasting change.

Championing inclusion and SEND support

Inclusion has always been at the heart of Parv’s vision. He actively supports adults with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them gain qualifications and access purposeful employment.

This same commitment to inclusion can be seen throughout his nurseries, which have become known for their exceptional support for children with additional needs. Under Parv’s leadership, the nurseries provide an out-of-ratio SEN team and free one-to-one support for children who need it most, helping to ensure every child feels valued, supported and able to thrive.

Supporting families and staff

Parv’s compassion extends beyond the children and families who attend his nurseries. He has also shown an incredible level of care and support for his staff, personally helping team members through difficult circumstances, including providing financial assistance following a house fire and offering unwavering support during bereavement.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, both nurseries remained open despite the significant financial pressures they faced. This ensured continuity of care for local families at a particularly challenging time.

Following the pandemic, Parv also invested in new learning spaces designed to support children in recovering developmentally, demonstrating his continued commitment to giving children the best possible start.

Making a difference across Bexley

Parv’s nurseries have consistently ranked among the Top 20 nurseries in London and have received Bexley 5QQ awards, alongside multiple wins at the Bexley Business Awards.

Parv also opened a second nursery to help expand access to high-quality childcare for local families, particularly those with SEN needs.

His commitment to the community goes far beyond his nurseries. Parv founded Truly Beloved, a charity supporting children with disabilities, covering all overheads so that every donation made directly benefits the children. His community fundraising, personal generosity and volunteering have also made him a trusted and respected figure within Bexley.

Recognising an outstanding contribution

Parv received his Civic Recognition of Outstanding Achievement Award at the Mayor of Bexley’s Civic Recognition Awards 2026, held on Friday 22 May 2026 at the Civic Offices in Bexleyheath.

The evening was hosted by Councillor Christine Catterall, The Mayor of the London Borough of Bexley (2025/2026), alongside David Easton JP DL, Representative Deputy Lieutenant for the London Borough of Bexley.

The award recognises Parv’s compassion, integrity and dedication to serving his community, qualities that have been evident throughout his work over the past 12 years.

We are delighted to see Parv’s commitment recognised in this way and are incredibly proud of the difference he continues to make to children, families, staff and the wider Bexley community.

Congratulations, Parv, on this very well-deserved recognition!
