About Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries
Established in 2002, Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries is the UK’s largest childcare franchise and third largest childcare provider.
Created and run by husband and wife team, Mark and Rebecca Crosby, the brand can trace its heritage in childcare back to 1978, when the first nursery was opened in Cambridgeshire (trading as Ladybird Day Nursery).
In 2005, Monkey Puzzle launched its first nursery franchise which has now grown to over 60 successful franchised nursery settings nationwide, making Monkey Puzzle the UK’s largest childcare franchise network.
Monkey Puzzle nurseries are designed to meet the needs of babies and young children, with large, bright open plan rooms, creative outdoor play areas and a variety of modern equipment providing children with a stimulating environment in which to thrive.
Monkey Puzzle supports its franchisees from inception through to becoming established nursery settings with property sourcing, lease negotiation property redevelopment, equipment, staffing, operations, training and marketing.
A further ten new franchised nursery settings will open in 2019, with plans for further expansion in 2020 and beyond.
