Kindness is a type of behavior marked by acts of generosity, consideration, or concern for others, without expecting praise or reward, and in a world where you can be anything, be kind! We can’t think of anyone kinder than our lovely Puzzlers.
Created by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation, this week is dedicated to encouraging kindness between people and Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries want to encourage everyone to join in. No matter how big or small, we want people to make gestures that give people smiles and let them know that you are thinking of them. Whether it’s offering someone your help, giving encouragement to do something hard or just making sure you thank the important people in your life to let them know how special they are. You never know what one kind gesture could do to brighten someone’s day!
That is why we have created an activity we know you will be fantastic at. We have made a list of 100 random acts for you to try. Some of the things you to try could be:
- Help set the table for dinner
- Play with a friend who is on their own
- Tidy up after you play
- Remember to thank everyone who helps you
- Give up your seat to someone who needs it more than you
Why not see how many you can do from our list of 100 acts and see how many smiles you can make in the world this week? To help you keep track, simply colour in a new heart for every item you complete using the attached list.
