Christmas is fast approaching and it’s time to get out your tree and put up your decorations. For a fun activity with the whole family, try creating your own Christmas Baubles. They’re easy to make and lots of fun to do. Get creative and see who can make the most spectacular Christmas Baubles for your tree.

What you need for your Paper Plate Baubles

  • Large and small paper plates
  • Multicolour tissue confetti
  • Glitter card
  • Glue stick
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors

Paper Plate Bauble Steps and Instructions

1.  Place one of your paper plates upright and apply glue over the surface.

2. Apply your tissue confetti over the glue, so that they stick onto the plate. For this example, pre-cut tissue confetti were used but you can make your own confetti by cutting the tissue paper

3. Once you have covered your plate with confetti, cut a short length of ribbon and stick both ends onto the top of your plate to form a loop

4. Lastly, cover the ends of your ribbon with a rectangular piece of paper, creating your bauble shape.

5. Repeat this process for your different sized plates. Now you have your own selection of Christmas baubles to enjoy!
